Our Story

Strive 4 Jannah Foundation (S4JF) is a Uganda-based relief and development charity established on March 3, 2016. Our organization was founded with the vision of extending assistance to underprivileged communities across Uganda through sustainable development initiatives.

The foundation was initiated by Hajjati Lazia Namutebi, who shared the idea with her family members, relatives, and friends. What started as a small group of concerned individuals has grown into a thriving organization.

Over the past 9+ years, we have successfully implemented numerous projects focused on education, health, clean water access, and community development. Our work has directly impacted thousands of lives across Uganda.

Transforming communities through sustainable development initiatives

Since our establishment in 2016, Strive 4 Jannah Foundation has been committed to implementing sustainable projects that address the most pressing needs of underprivileged communities across Uganda. Our projects are designed to create lasting impact and empower communities for generations to come.

Focusing on areas where we can make the most significant impact

Sayidina Abubakar School, Butambala

Sayidina Abubakar Orphanage holds a special place in the heart of S4JF. It was among the very first institutions S4JF supported when the Foundation began its work in 2016 with support to orphan and vulnerable child welfare. A full decade on, S4JF intends to ensure its sustained development into a model school.

Strive4 Jannah Foundation Education Fund

Education is the most enduring gift we can offer a child. Through its Education Fund, S4JF provides holistic educational support to orphaned and vulnerable children in our care, covering school fees, scholastic materials, and welfare needs so that no child's potential is lost to circumstance.

Acquisition of Strive4 Jannah Foundation Home

S4JF has operated without a permanent base since its inception, relying on volunteer homes and borrowed spaces for meetings and storage. Owning a dedicated premises will provide a permanent, professional base for the ExCo, volunteers, and beneficiaries. A land acquisition strategy was formally adopted in 2019 where 25% of all project proceeds was ring-fenced for land purchase, with a target of acquiring a minimum of 3 acres. This is yet to be realized.
