“Part of being a person is about helping others.”
S4JF is a Uganda-based Muslim charity with a mission to improve the lives of individuals in need through various relief and development projects. Our organization was established in March 2016 and is driven by the Islamic principles of empathy, generosity, and selflessness. We focus on improving the health, education, and providing basic necessities to individuals in the local community. Regardless of religion, race, tribe, or location, we are dedicated to helping those in need and providing support to orphaned children. Join us in making a positive impact on our community by supporting our efforts today.
We strive to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of individuals and families in need. We invite you to learn more about each of these causes and to join us in making a difference.
One of our main focus is the building and renovation of mosques to ensure that the community has access to a safe and suitable place to practice their religion. Our programs also include the funding of religious education programs and the sponsorship of Imams to provide religious guidance and teachings to the community.
We believe that every child deserves a chance to grow and thrive, regardless of their family circumstances. One of our main focus is to provide support and care for orphaned children, who have lost one or both of their parents. Our programs include providing basic needs such as food, clothing, and shelter, as well as education.
We understand the importance of providing immediate assistance to communities in times of crisis. Our Rapid Response Projects focus on providing basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical aid to individuals and families affected by natural disasters, conflicts, and other emergencies.
One of our main focus is the building of classroom blocks to ensure that children have access to a safe and conducive learning environment. Our programs also include the sponsorship of orphaned children, providing them with the opportunity to receive an education and break the cycle of poverty.
We believe that access to quality healthcare is a basic human right. Our programs include providing medical supplies, funding health campaigns and providing education on health and hygiene. We also support the training and capacity building of local health care workers.
We believe in providing support and resources to children with special needs so they can reach their full potential. Our special needs project focuses specifically on children who have physical, mental, and developmental disabilities. We aim to provide specialized education and therapy programs that are tailored to their unique needs.

We believe in involving the communities we serve in the design, implementation, and evaluation of our programs.
We work closely with local organizations, government agencies, and other partners to leverage their expertise, resources, and networks to maximize the impact of our assistance.
We use data and research to inform our programs and initiatives, ensuring that they are based on best practices and proven methods.
We focus on creating sustainable solutions for the communities we serve, rather than short-term fixes. This includes programs that promote economic self-sufficiency, education, and community development.
We regularly monitor and evaluate our programs to measure their impact and identify areas for improvement. This helps us to make data-driven decisions and continuously improve the effectiveness of our assistance.
We understand that providing effective assistance to communities in need requires a comprehensive and holistic approach. Our strategies are carefully crafted to address the specific needs and challenges of the communities we serve, and to create lasting solutions for poverty, lack of education, health issues and other difficulties. We focus on engaging with communities, building partnerships and collaborations, using evidence-based approaches, promoting long-term sustainability, and monitoring and evaluating our programs to ensure that we are making a meaningful and lasting impact.
We are constantly working to identify and address the most pressing needs of local communities. Our latest causes reflect our ongoing commitment to providing support and assistance in areas such as health, education, and empowerment.
S4JF’s Ramadhan project aims to provide basic necessities such as food, water, and other essentials to those fasting during the month of Ramadhan, particularly those who are struggling financially or have limited access to resources. The project has provided food packages to over 1000 families, distributed water and essentials to those fasting and also set up iftar tents and provided iftar meals for over 200 people. The project is supported by donors, volunteers and partners and S4JF is continuously working on expanding its reach to help more people.
We have successfully built several mosques in different communities, providing a safe and comfortable place for people to come together and connect with their faith. These mosque projects have been beneficial for the communities in many ways, including providing a sense of belonging, building a sense of community, and providing a place of worship for people who otherwise would not have one. We have been able to involve the local community in the building process, providing them with the opportunity to take ownership of the mosque and contribute to its construction.
S4JF’s orphanage program aims to provide a safe and nurturing home for orphaned children. Our goal is to build an orphanage on 2 acres of land that will provide a comfortable and safe environment for the children to grow and develop. The orphanage will include facilities such as dormitories, classrooms, a kitchen, and a playground. Currently, we are in the process of acquiring 2 acres of land, and our team is working on the design and planning of the orphanage. We are committed to building an orphanage that will provide the children with a comfortable and safe living environment, and that will also be energy-efficient and sustainable.
S4JF’s ongoing special needs project for children is making a significant impact in the lives of disabled kids and children with special needs. The project aims to provide these children with essential items such as wheelchairs, prosthetic limbs, and other assistive devices, as well as to empower them through education and skill development programs. We also empower their care takers by providing capital and essential items to improve their earning potentials
Our health project, which focuses on providing essential medical treatment and medicines to under served communities, is making steady progress. The project aims to reach out to remote and marginalized communities, and provide them with free medical treatment and essential medicines. Currently, we have carried out 5 successful medical outreaches, treating over 8000 individuals and providing them with essential medicines.
Our education project, which focuses on providing access to quality education for children in underprivileged communities, is making positive progress. The project aims to build classroom blocks for schools in need and provide students with scholastic materials such as books, pens, paper and other educational resources. Currently, we have successfully built a classroom block for a school in a rural area, providing a safe and conducive learning environment for over 200 students. The classroom block has received positive feedback from both teachers and students, who previously had to hold classes in overcrowded and dilapidated classrooms.
