About the program

Humanitarian Aid

At S4JF, we understand the importance of providing immediate assistance to communities in times of crisis. Our Rapid Response Projects focus on providing basic necessities such as food, shelter, and medical aid to indid by natural disasters, conflicts, and other emergencies. We aim to respond quickly and efficiently to provide aid as soon as possible. Our teams work closely with local partners to ensure that the aid reaches those who need it most. Our Rapid Response Projects also include the distribution of essential items such as blankets, clothing, and hygiene kits. We also provide support for the restoration of basividuals and families affectec services such as clean water and sanitation. We are committed to providing life-saving assistance to those in need and working to alleviate suffering in the wake of an emergency.

Aspects of the Humanitarian Program:

    1. Provision of Basic Items: Our goal is to ensure that everyone has access to the essential items they need to live with dignity. This includes providing food, clothing, and household items to those in need.

    2. Water Projects: Clean water is essential for health and well-being. We work on water projects to provide communities with access to safe, clean drinking water.

     

  • Food Assistance: No one should go hungry. Our food assistance program aims to provide nutritious meals to those in need, helping to address food insecurity and malnutrition.

  • Disaster Relief: In times of crisis, we respond quickly to provide emergency aid and support to those affected by natural disasters, conflict, or other emergencies.

  • Clothing: We provide clothing to individuals and families who lack the resources to purchase these essentials themselves

Ramadhan Project 2023

In 2022, the Strive for Jannah Foundation’s Ramadan Project aimed to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in need. Through our efforts, we were able to accomplish the following:

  • Distribution of over 3,000 food packages to families in need. These packages included staple food items such as rice, flour, sugar, and oil, providing them with the basic necessities for their meals during the holy month.

  • Provision of clean drinking water to over 2,000 individuals through the installation of new water wells and the rehabilitation of existing ones.

  • Clothing distribution to 1,500 people, ensuring that they had the necessary clothing to keep them warm and protected from the elements.

  • Qurans and Yasalunas were given to 500 families, providing them with the necessary spiritual resources to observe Ramadan with devotion and understanding.

These accomplishments demonstrate the impact that can be made through the collective efforts of our community. The Strive for Jannah Foundation is committed to continuing our efforts to support those in need, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many.

Water Project

We constructed  a borehole in Naggalama at a  school that was facing challenges accessing clean  water. This was affecting the children both  academically and physically because they had to  walk long distances in order to get clean water. The handover was done on 8th November 2020.
